Design details that really make an impact visually are where you want to spend your hard earned dollar.  Here are some tips and ideas below...

1. Paint- change the color of the cabinets in a powder bath, master bath, or kitchen island.

2. Wallpaper- wall coverings have come a long way in the last 20 years and can add a real visual impact in small spaces like a powder room.

3. Mosaic tile-  use mosaic tile instead of large format tile for a fireplace surround or stair risers to get that designer feel.
