Houston Craftsman

This custom home takes the Craftsman style to the next level with some modern elements and designer selections.  Classic Craftsman elements and beautiful marble run throughout the home.  With traditional woodwork and shaker style cabinetry set off by the Carrera marble tile and counters, the home evokes the feeling of a home from the Craftsman era.  Current paint color combinations, designer chrome finishes, and dark hardwoods give it a more updated appearance for the modern family.

Design Details

Design details that really make an impact visually are where you want to spend your hard earned dollar.  Here are some tips and ideas below...

1. Paint- change the color of the cabinets in a powder bath, master bath, or kitchen island.

2. Wallpaper- wall coverings have come a long way in the last 20 years and can add a real visual impact in small spaces like a powder room.

3. Mosaic tile-  use mosaic tile instead of large format tile for a fireplace surround or stair risers to get that designer feel.
